Vaccine Passes No Longer Required

The Government has recently announced changes to its Covid-19 traffic light framework, announcing that it will drop all requirements for My Vaccine Passes from 11.59pm Monday 4 April. Therefore, from Tuesday 5 April, a Vaccine Pass will not be required when staying at Kennedy Park Resort. Masks must be worn in our reception area and Storkey’s Restaurant.

Our team will continue to follow Ministry of Health guidelines to protect you and ensure your stay at Kennedy Park Resort is a safe and enjoyable experience. We look forward to seeing you, however if you are feeling unwell, please hold off your visit until your symptoms clear to ensure the safety of our community and staff. There may be guidance changes in the future which we will respond to as required and will keep you as informed as possible.

Kennedy Park Resort Napier has a longstanding commitment to being Hawke’s Bay’s supported self-isolating facility, providing accommodation services for essential workers and self-isolating guests if required.

This means after a medical officer has assessed the case and they have no appropriate means to self-isolate they will be transferred to Kennedy Park Resort. If we are asked to support a self-isolating guest, the person will be located away from others in a stand-alone unit. They will not be allowed to leave their room or the dedicated outside space, and are unable to use any of the resort’s facilities. Security will be in place under the strict procedures of the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board.
